Based on the Celtic Fringe exhibition at the Quilt Museum we are proud to present a beginners guide to wholecloth quilting with an overview to the historical background of Welsh and Scottish (from Hawick in particular) wholecloth quilts.

Book includes patterns and motifs to reconstruct two quilts,the Hawick Quilt and The Claridges quilt,  in The Quilters' Guild Collection and alternative cushion designs using the same classic motifs.

This book is spiral bound to make it easy to use each pattern motif.
